KANNUR: A secret Intelligence report has said that despite the interim peace in Kannur, warring political groups are preparing for violence in the backstage
Police have taken the warnings very seriously and cautiously.

Due to a chain of criticisms, CPM is writhing internally and externally in pain. And, the intelligence reports say that certain political forces will cash in on this situation to create trouble and arson in Kannur, the Kerala district which is notorious for political assaults and bloody killings.

CPM workers have been in disappointment due to allegations and criticisms that have been rising against the party.

The CPM is worried even at the organisational level over the rise of criminal gangs that have even posed a challenge to the party leadership.

The party’s opponents, too, have such gangs. Their illegal, criminal deeds are sometimes operated from even insides of the jail and the public often comes to know about this through media.

The Intelligence wing has passed on the secret information about the chances for untoward incidents to the State police headquarters, pointing out past experiences in Kannur for reference.
