THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Congress leader K.C. Venugopal MP said that Rahul Gandhi’s decision to step down as the President of Congress following the defeat in Lok Sabha election was exemplary. He also asked for complete change within the party including the working committee. Rahul Gandhi will continue as the party chief till a new chief takes office and a working committee will be convened soon, he said.

Congress has started the discussions to elect Rahul Gandhi’s successor. Rahul Gandhi said that the Congress will work harder in the next five years.
