KOCHI: BJP leader and advocate B Gopalakrishnan has alleged that police stations in Kerala are the concentration camps of Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. His comment had an indirect allusion to the custodial death of Nedumkandam Chit fund fraud case accused Rajkumar.
Gopalakrishnan demanded that the trial of the case be conducted outside Kerala and the case be handed over to Central investigation agency.
“In the case, the CPM had some financial intentions and a proper investigation should bring this out,” he said.
Following the custodial death of Rajkumar, the Crime Branch had taken into custody former Nedumkandam Sation SI Sabu and police driver Sajeev Antony.
An ASI and a policeman with a suspected role in the custodial murder are still in hiding. The investigation has intensified the search for them.
