BENGALURU: All the resigned MLAs of the ruling front in Karnataka reached Mumbai in BJP MP’s flight. The ten MLAs resigned last night reached Mumbai in BJP MP Rajeev Chandrashekar’s flight. They are staying in Sofitel Hotel in Mumbai. Hints say they will return only after speaker approves their resignation.

Meantime, other MLAs including Ramalinga Reddy are in Bengaluru itself. AICC general secretary K C Venugopal held talks with Reddy in Bengaluru.

The Congress alleged that BJP is behind the political drama now taking place in Karnataka. However, the resigned MLAs had rejected the allegation. B S Yeddyurappa said BJP is not responsible for the resignation of the MLAs. Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy who is in America is expected to reach Bengaluru today. The Congress and JD (S) MLAs had the other day submitted the resignation after reaching speaker’s office.

If 15 MLAs from the 224 members resign, it will be difficult for the Kumaraswamy government to survive.
