THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: BJP state president P.S. Sreedharan Pillai has said that a lot of Cong leaders came with him to meet Amit Shah. But he wasn’t ready to reveal the names. He added that many other leaders from Cong will join BJP following the path of Abdullakutty.

Personalities like Padmasree Lakshmikuttyamma, actor M.R. Gopakumar, director Thulasidas, Kalamandalam Sathyabhama, P.V. Natarajan and many other became party members. They were welcomed by the state president. Meanwhile, the inauguration membership campaign was held in 13 other districts.

Pillai said that it’s an achievement to hear from CPM that BJP made massive leaps in Kerala. A.P. Abdullakutty said that it’s an honour to be welcomed by the BJP.
