KOLLAM: Woman and her lover have been taken into custody for trying to abduct a five-year-old girl. The girl who is the daughter of a Kannanallur Paalamukku native went missing on Sunday evening. The neighbor woman was also missing, which raised suspicions. The girl was in touch with that house. There is also another child in that house of the girl’s age.

There were several attempts to contact this woman but to no avail. A piece of information that the woman has a relationship with an autorickshaw driver in Apsara Junction was an important lead in the case. With the assistance of the locals, the girl’s mother reached this house. While searching the house, they found the girl by 2 in the morning. On the mother’s complaint, the accused woman was taken into custody and then transferred to Mahila Mandiram. Her lover is also in police custody. The girl will undergo medical checkup on Monday.
