KANNUR: CPM is trying to scandalize us, says Beena- the wife of Sajan, the expat industrialist who committed suicide in Anthoor. Beena and her children said that the mouthpiece of CPM is trying to spread rumours. She said that legal action will be taken against the daily. She added that if the slanders continue they have no other way than to suicide.
The CPM mouthpiece had reported that the suicide of Sajan was not due to issues related to the convention centre. This is cited in the police investigation report, the newspaper reads. The newspaper also said that one of Sajan’s SIM card was not used by him, which was a twist in the police investigation. The newspaper claims that Sajan died to issues related to calls to this SIM from a person named Manzoor.
“People trying to scandalize us should at least think about my daughter. The news that my children recorded statement against me is against facts. There were no family issues in our house. My husband who has seen different paths in this world will never commit suicide. My daughter has never said that there were family problems. Instead, she said there weren’t any problems. One can understand by checking the records”, Beena said.
