THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A look out notice will be issued against the accused in the University College murder attempt case. The investigating official sought the permission of the commissioner to issue the notice against seven accused in the case. Meantime, the police today conducted a search at the house of Nanda Kishore, a native of Peyad, in connection with the case. The search was conducted based on the statement that there were some from outside in attacking Akhil.

The police have registered a case against Sivarenjith, Nazeem, Amar, Adwaith, Aadil, Aaromal, Ibrahim and thirty others. Though it was informed that the accused will be in the students centre controlled by the SFI and organisational offices the police have not conducted a search. Meantime, it has also been alleged that police is trying to save Nazeem and Sivarenjith selected in constable section and are trying to settle the case. The CPM district leaders have denied it.

SFI activist and a final degree student Akhil was stabbed in the name of singing in the canteen. Akhil, who sustained serious stab injuries is in the intensive care unit of the medical college hospital. Though he was subjected for a surgery and is out of danger, he remains unresponsive. So, the police were not able to record his statement. The investigating team will visit him again and try to record his statement.
