THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The police recovered four bundles of unused answer sheets of the University of Kerala in a raid at the house of primary accused Shivaranjith involved in the murder attempt of third-year degree student Akhil at University College.

The source and purpose of these answer sheets are not clear. A detailed probe will be held into the matter. The raid was conducted by a team lead by cantonment SI who is assigned with the investigation of the stabbing case. The new incident came to light at a time when suspicions were raised against the accused regarding their appearance for PSC examination in Thiruvananthapuram centres. Two of the accused had secured top ranks in the police rank list.
