THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Kerala University will investigate finding bundles of blank answer sheets from the house of Sivarenjith, accused in the case of stabbing Akhil Chandran, a final year degree student of University College. The vice chancellor informed this after a high level meet convened here today. The university has detected lapse from the side of the University College.

The university provides the required blank answer sheets for each college. It is the responsibility of the college to keep it safely. If there are any answer sheets remaining, then the colleges should use it for the next exams. The officials’ explanation is that the university has nothing to do with the incident.

However, the public opinion is that a probe is needed on the issue. Many including pro vice-chancellor and exam controller attended the meet convened to discuss the issue.

Meantime, seven students have been suspended from the college in the case of stabbing a student. The decision to suspend them was taken at the college council convened here today.
