THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The union office of the University College will be closed and will be changed to a classroom. Additional director of education directed to make the office a classroom. Additional director said that if the classroom conversion work is complete, the college is likely to open tomorrow itself. The college has sought the help of the police taking into account the possibility of violence. Meantime the additional director said that no lapses were found from the side of the principal in connection with the attack. The teachers are not controlled and so a curb will be brought on the activities of the union. Action will be taken once the report of the investigating commission is obtained. Initial steps have been taken.
