vs-achuthanandhan

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: CPI(M) leader and Kerala Administrative Reforms Commission chairman V.S Achuthanandan has launched criticism against Students’ Federation of India for promoting violence in college campuses. The remarks were made following the arrest of the SFI activists for attempting to murder a fellow student from the University College.

Achuthanandan pointed out that the federation is having serious issues in its foundation and it is the duty of the student fraternity to rectify these mistakes and move forward. He also criticized the leadership for propagating violence among the students and added that such leaders should not be followed.

SIvarenjith and Naseem, the two SFI activists, were arrested on Monday morning while other convicts are still on the run. Police have informed that Sivarenjith has admitted that it was he who stabbed the victim.
