Deepa Nishanth, a lecturer and author has come forward responding on the stabbing issue of University College. Many criticised social and cultural leaders for keeping mum on the stabbing issue of University College. When Abhimanyu of Maharajas College was stabbed to death, writers including Deepa Nishanth had reacted on the issue. Deepa Nishanth came forward with a reply for it. I know what happened in University College, I did not write on it and I don’t need anybody’s advice on how to spend time, she wrote in her Facebook page.

I think the action taken by the organization leadership on the incident is right and a discussion beyond that is of no importance, she opined.
