THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: In the wake of the clashes, classes will be conducted under police security, said additional director of education K K Suma. The college education directorate has taken some new decisions to normalise the atmosphere of the college.

The office of the SFI union in the college has been vacated and it has been changed to a classroom. The room used for other things should not be used for any other purpose again. She said the teachers have assured to cooperate to make the learning environment peaceful.

Re-admission will not be given in the college to those who go without completing their studies. It has been decided that regular students with highest marks will only be admitted in the college. An internal committee will be formed for each department. A tutor will be given the charge of each class. Classes will go forward under the control of departmental chief and principal.

The college chief superintendent of exams has been removed from the post. A new office for exam purposes will be opened. It has been decided not to conduct other exams including PSc exam in the college. The campus will be renovated after removing posters, wall letters etc. The police department has promised help on it. The higher education department will lead the drive, said the additional director.
