HYDERABAD: In a shocking turn of events, England coach Trevor Bayliss has been announced as the new coach of IPL franchise Sunrisers Hyderabad contrary to earlier reports. Earlier, it was reported that Trevor was all set to become the coach of Kolkata Knight Riders, another IPL team.
The news was revealed by Sunrisers Hyderabad through a press release on Thursday. It also stated that the team’s current head coach Tom Moody will step down from his position. Bayliss, under whose guidance England won their maiden World Cup title, will step down from his current role after the Ashes series later this year.
Apart from winning the World Cup, Bayliss has also guided Kolkata Knight Riders to win two IPL trophies
