MUMBAI: BCCI’s selection committee has announced that it has postponed its meeting which was supposed to take place on Friday. The selection committee will meet on Sunday to take the decision regarding the Indian squad that will tour West Indies in August.
According to sources, the fitness reports of players will be available only on Saturday which makes it difficult for the selection committee to meet on Friday. The selection committee meeting is considered crucial by cricket experts as the committee is expected to bring some changes in the Indian squad following the team’s semifinal defeat.
It is learnt that skipper Virat Kohli might play in the series though earlier reports suggested that he might be rested. The team will play three T20Is, three ODI and three tests starting from August 3rd.
