NEW DELHI: All student organizations in campuses should be given a chance to work, said CPI state secretary Kanam Rajendran. The problem at University College in Thiruvananthapuram and MG College is that it is not there. If those on the left cannot give democratic rights, then how can one work against fascism, asked Kanam.

Some organizations are disrupting the activities of other organizations in University College, M G College, and many other colleges. There were problems here as a part of it. The police have registered a case on the issue in University College and have also arrested the accused.

Freedom of action should be ensured for all organizations in college campuses, he said.
