THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Governor P Sadasivam has suggested the introduction of a special code of conduct for student organizations in the college campuses. The governor made his suggestion during his inaugural speech at the Nishagandhi Music Festival on Saturday.

According to the Governor, most student organisations have connections with political organisations and hence there is an urgent need to introduce a code of conduct in the campuses. While condemning the violent incident that shook University College, he added that all such forces that instigate violence in campuses must be expelled. The Governor also hoped student organisations must sort out their differences and work together for the betterment of the students.

The governor also reminded about the significance of a peaceful campus in a student’s education. Hence, the organisations should follow a special code of conduct in order to enhance a good future for the students. The governor had earlier sought explanations regarding the University college incident from the Kerala University VC and State Education minister.ഹലഗനാീേഗൂബ
