THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Sunday has come up against the (KSU protest in front of the secretariat. The CPM leader said he could not understand why the KSU activists were protesting.

“If the KSU wants to stop the functioning of the University College, it will not happen. The efforts for that had not succeeded even when a government led by UDF was in power”, Vijayan said.

The DYFI had alleged that the Congress is creating conflicts across the state in the name of the incident in University College. DYFI state secretary A.A. Rahim criticized KSU by asking what’s the union seeking for. He added that the union doesn’t even raise a logical slogan. He alleged that the KSU has decided to create chaos once the college reopens and K. Sudhakaran’s statement at KSU protest venue is proof of that.
