Actor Vijay Devarakonda, who recently came to Kochi to promote his latest film ‘Dear Comrade’, opened up about his film journey to Kerala Kaumudi Online. According to the actor, his journey from being a 25-year-old with hardly any bank balance to the present has been nothing short of dream coming true.

The actor, who has made it to the Forbes Magazine’s list in just five years, says that the journey hasn’t been easy. “I feel it very strange whenever I think about life. Some are born rich while others achieve it through hard work. Some still continue to be poor. Some might be very tall and some not so. Thus, each of us has our own problems. I too had my own issues. But success comes in life when one thinks about overcoming these problems and achieves it through hard work,” the actor said.

The Arjun Reddy star, who also expressed his love for Kerala and its local food, went on to compare Kerala’s beauty to that of Ladakh and Goa. When it comes to movies, the actor said that he loves Malayalam cinema and his favourite Malayalam star is Dulquer Salmaan.
