Political critic and advocate A Jayashankar came down heavily on LDF convenor A Vijayaraghavan. In a Facebook post, he criticised the speech delivered by Vijayaraghavan mocking the strike staged by KSU in front of the secretariat against the violence unleashed by SFI in the University College. Jayashankar in his post said whenever Vijayaraghavan says something unknowingly an ‘A’ comes. Jayashankar mentioned Viajayaraghavan’s statement on Remya Haridas meeting P K Kunhalikutty during poll campaign and the way women in tv channels wear sarees. ‘A’ is not just an initial, it is a meaningful acronym that was once printed with great emphasis in cinema notices and posters. But when his speech stoked a controversy, he clarified that he had not insulted the fishermen.
