BENGALURU: As the trust vote is expected to take place today in Karnataka Assembly, rebel MLAs have sent a letter to the speaker seeking one month time to appear before the assembly. Earlier, the speaker had asked the rebel MLAs to appear in the assembly by 11 am today.
As per reports, the MLAs are still believed to be in Mumbai. They have sent a letter seeking more time so as to avoid disqualification by the speaker. The trust vote is expected to happen within 6 today evening as announced by the speaker.
The trust vote has been constantly postponed due to the difference in opinion between Congress and BJP MLAs. It is heard that the meeting of the assembly has begun despite low attendance.
