KOZHIKODE: A man was arrested after a minor girl’s parents alleged that he showed pornographic videos to their daughter during her way home. Police arrested Sajeesh, hailing from Maayanad, after gathering evidence from CCTV footages.

The CCTV footage clearly shows Sajeesh blocking the girl’s path with his motorcycle and then talking to her. He then goes on to show the pornographic videos stored in his mobile before the leaves for her house on her cycle. The girl immediately went on to inform her parents about the incident following which they approached the police.

The police immediately checked the footages from a nearby CCTV and identified Sajeesh. It is learnt that Sajeesh has pleaded guilty to the crime while the POCSO court has ordered him to be remanded for 14 days.
