THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Power Minister, who has been admitted to Thiruvananthapuram Medical College, underwent a key-hole surgery on Tuesday after he had brain hemorrhage.
The surgery, which started at 8 am, was over by 11 am. He was later shifted to neurosurgery ICU of the Superspeciality block and his condition is stable. He had food in the night and would be discharged after two days, according to doctors treating him.
The minister was admitted to the hospital last Wednesday after he felt his legs losing strength. In the examination, slight bleeding was spotted between the brain and skull. The surgery was decided after a meeting of the Medical Board on Monday.
