AHMEDABAD: A complaint has been filed against a primary school teacher in Ahmedabad for forcing boy students to wear bangles in classrooms. The teacher allegedly gave the weird punishment after finding out that the students did not do their home works.
The incident happened at a primary school in Mehsana district. As per reports, the teacher Manubhai Prajapati found out that three boy students had not done their home works. After questioning them, he immediately asked some girl students to hand over their bangles to the boys. He then forcibly made the boys to wear bangles and asked them not to remove it till the end of the class.
It has been reported that the students underwent mental stress due to the incident and subsequently refused to go to school. The parents came to know about the incident after further questioning and immediately complained about the teacher to the school authorities. It is learnt that the authorities have conducted a primary investigation on the matter following which the teacher was asked to go on forced leave.
