SRINAGAR: In order to strengthen anti-terrorist actions, centre has decided to move over 10,000 troops to Jammu and Kashmir. This comes after National Security Adviser (NSA) Ajit Doval returned from a two-day visit to the valley.
Recently, around 40,000 additional central paramilitary forces were brought in for Amarnath Yatra security. Following the actions against Jamaat-e-Islami leaders and before the elections, 10,000 troops were assigned in February.
Sources said that Doval met senior officers and reviewed the law and order situation in the state that's still under the President's rule.
