PATHANAMTHITTA: Krishna jewellery at Pathanamthitta witnessed an adventurous robbery on Sunday evening as 4kg gold was robbed by a group of men after tying up a staff. However, the police acted quickly and arrested the main accused who is also a staff in the jewellery.

The main accused has been identified as Akshay Patel, a native of Maharashtra. It is learnt that Akshay, along with four other men, attacked Santhosh before tying him up and committing the crime. It is learnt that they have seized more than Rs.10lakh in cash along with the gold.

Police have informed they have taken all necessary actions to ensure that the remaining men are caught at the earliest.
