THRISSUR: Evidences of public outrage in social media days before Punna native Noushad was hacked to death by bike borne gangs have been revealed. A clash broke out between congress and SDPI activists in Chavakkad sector a few days ago. Soon after that, some posters appeared threatening Noushad. Noushad, accused in many cases was a threat to the activities of the SDPI and below the posters there were comments to finish him off. As a continuation of this, Noushad and his group were attacked three days ago. A 14-member team in seven bikes were behind the attack. Seven pillion riders are behind the attack. Three others who were with Noushad sustained injuries while trying to save him.
Though he was taken to the hospital, his life could not be saved. Even after his death, there were efforts to defame him in various social media groups. Posts are being circulated that group squabbles in the congress itself led to Noushad's death and the involvement of CPM has also been mentioned.
Meantime, it has also been alleged that even after days the police were not able to nab the accused and this is termed as a serious lapse from the side of the police. There are chances for the accused to escape and lose evidences since it has been two days. However, the police said four have been identified in the case.
