BENGALURU: The death of India’s ‘Coffee King’ Siddhartha came as a surprise to many. However, the mystery behind this unnatural death continues to grow as his t-shirt and phone are believed to be missing.
According to his driver, Siddhartha had made over 20 phone calls before entering the Nethravathi bridge. He was also heard apologising to many. The driver also stated that Siddhartha left home that day earlier than usual.
Meanwhile, the absence of T-shirt on the body is creating doubts in the minds of officials. According to them, had Siddhartha taken away his t-shirt before the jump, it would have been found on the bridge. They also suggested that there is no chance of him removing the t-shirt after the jump. They also pointed out that when the body was found, they saw blood coming out from Siddhartha’s nose. His mobile is also yet to be found. Meanwhile, his identity card, wallet and watch were found along with the body.
Siddhartha reportedly went missing from Nethravathi bridge on Monday following which police started investigation. The body was later recovered from the river near an ice plant 2 kilometers away from the bridge.
