THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The CPM leadership is with a decisive move in the state following the setback in the Lok Sabha polls. The CPM has decided to bring every house and places of worship in the state closer to the party and appoint its people to monitor them politically. This will be after the completion of the home visit programme being carried out by the party leadership. The state committee has directed branches to appoint a person in houses coming under their limits. A member of the party, or a member of the affiliate group can be appointed for this purpose. The branch secretary has been entrusted to collect information from them every week. The leadership should be informed if any observers could not be deployed in any area.

The CPM is gearing for the new move after realising that the influence they once had among the people has now been lost. The party is not getting even the votes of those who are known as party supporters. There are many from a house working in different political parties. So all the calculations in the election went wrong. Observers are being appointed to find a solution for it. Every worker should understand the situation of the homes they are assigned to. It is also directed that the observers should assist those trying to get the benefits of the state government and notify the higher committee if there is a complaint. In addition, activists are advised to establish good links with places of worship.
