THRISSUR: Former DGP Jacob Thomas has said that it is high time that we chanted Jai Shri Ram with more intensity than that we used to chant it with.
“If our mind has reached a state when we are not able to chant Jai Shri Ram, we have become barbarians. Have we?” Jacob Thomas quipped while talking at a Ramayana fest event in Thrissur on Thursday.
The former Vigilance director said, “Sree Ram is the embodiment of goodness and dharma (righteousness). We are living in a period when we are not able to chant Jai Sree Ram. Had Valmiki been alive, he would have written one more Ramayana. It is high time we chanted Jai Shri Ram more powerfully,” he said.
