THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: State Human Rights Commission has accused Museum police of favouring Sriram Venkataraman by not collecting his blood samples after the accident that took the life of a journalist.
Chairman Justice Antony Dominic was reacting to a complaint filed by Loktantric Janata Dal National President Salim Madavur. He also ordered the State police chief to look into the matter immediately. It is learnt that the DGP and City Commissioner have been asked to submit their reports on the matter within 10 days.
Earlier, reports emerged that Museum police did not collect the blood samples or fingerprints from the IAS official which led to widespread criticism.
