THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Sreeram Venkitaraman, IAS officer remanded in the case of killing of a scribe in an inebriated stage, will be shifted to the medical college hospital from the private hospital where he is currently undergoing treatment.
The police has started procedures to shift him to the medical college hospital. The government had given a letter to KIMS hospital regarding his discharge following media’s intervention. The discharge procedures of Sreeram undergoing treatment at the KIMS Hospital in a suite room has started. Meantime, no reports have come regarding his condition.
The hospital authorities had made all five-star arrangements for the officer. He was online all the time and in whatsapp. Meantime, the procedures to suspend him from service is getting delayed.
