THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: IAS official Sriram Venkitaraman, who has been held responsible for the death of journalist KM Basheer, has been moved to Poojapura sub-jail. Earlier, it was reported that Sriram will be shifted to the jail cell in Medical College Hospital.

The decision to move Sriram to the sub-jail was taken after he was produced before the Judicial magistrate in the evening. After inspecting, the magistrate stated that Sriram does not have serious health issues and subsequently ordered him to be moved to the sub-jail.

Meanwhile, there are also unconfirmed reports suggesting that Sriram will be shifted to the medical college after examining his health at the sub-jail. It must be noted that Sriram was admitted to a private hospital soon after the accident.
