NEW YORK: A woman was killed after a policeman’s gunshot, intended for a dog, hit her. The horrific incident happened at Arlington in the USA.

The policeman reached the area after he received a message about a lady lying unconscious at the lawn. During his search, he suddenly saw a dog approaching him and this forced him to shoot the dog. However, instead of hitting the target he managed to hit Margarita Brooks, a homeless woman. Margarita who got shot at the chest died on her way to the hospital.

According to reports, the policeman was immediately suspended. Officials have stated that an investigation has begun. They also stated that the circumstances under which the lady was found unconscious will also be probed.
