THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: CPM state secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan has come up with harsh criticism towards IAS Officer Sriram Venkitaraman in relation to the accident that resulted in the death of a mediaperson. In a post on his Facebook page, Kodiyeri wrote that a situation shouldn’t arise where people belonging to IAS category can do anything and the government should check whether the police have taken all necessary steps.

Mask of some has been torn. Kodiyeri added that people with such behaviour are being touted as heroes and the media and the social media should feel guilty for praising them.
