THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Crime Branch will probe the recently detected anomalies in the PSC examination. This follows a letter sent by the PSC to the DGP, seeking inquiry into the irregularities in the PSC constable examination.

The PSC secretary had held meeting in this regard with the DGP on Wednesday. The case will be probed by the Thiruvananthapuram unit of the Crime Branch. A special team will be appointed by the Crime Branch chief if need arises.

Shivaranjith, Naseem and Pranav were the accused SFI leaders in the case related to the copying in the PSC exams. The owner of the mobile phone from which answers were keyed in and sent to the SFI leaders will also be made accused in the case.
