THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A holiday has been declared for all educational institutions of the state in the wake of heavy showers. All educational institutions including professional colleges and anganwadis will remain closed, said the respective district collectors of the state. Earlier, a holiday was declared for all educational institutions except Thiruvananthapuram and Kollam. PSC exams scheduled for today have been postponed. The weather department has predicted heavy rains in the state today and tomorrow.
