KABUL: The Taliban has come out with a statement on the Kashmir issue after the Central government revoked the special status of the Jammu and Kashmir. It has asked both India and Pakistan to refrain from any sort of activities that may lead to violence in the valley.
Taliban chief Sabihullah Mujahid stated that the new development can make things worse in Kashmir. There is a high chance of violence in many parts of the state and the lives of Kashmiris will be affected. Thus both Indian and Pakistani governments must come to an agreement to sort things out peacefully.
Meanwhile, the Taliban chief also criticised Pakistan for comparing Kashmir issue with Afghanistan issue. He also urged international bodies to look into the matter.
