Actor Unni Mukundan has posted an emotional message on his Facebook page urging people to help those who are suffering due to the ongoing flood. He pointed out that the situation is so bad that there is a shortage in the number of both volunteers and necessities.

The actor's post reads, "We shouldn't ignore those who have lost everything in the floods. I am doing my very best to help and we all must do whatever we can to help them overcome the situation.' He also shared that Vishnu, a still photographer of his film, had sent a voice message saying that his family at Malappuram is facing a shortage of basic necessities. The actor says, "At present, there is a shortage of basic commodities in the collection centers and this is causing a delay in sending the items to the flood-affected areas. Though we have been asking for help through social media, very few are turning up. The condition of the people in Nilambur, Valamchery and Malappuram is very bad."

The actor concludes his message by requesting everyone to do whatever they can in order to help the needy. "We, Keralites, must embrace the affected people just like how we did in the last year," he added.
