Weather studies department of Kochi Science and Technology varsity has informed that the intensity of rain will lessen in the coming days. Clouds are moving away from Kerala. The Western winds has also lost its steam. The intensity of the rain will ease as the low pressure area is moving towards the West regions.
With this, there are little chances for extremely heavy rain and there are only chances for isolated heavy rains or extensive small rains. Such rains will continue in North and Central Kerala. By Thursday evening, the sky will become clearer.
In South and North districts, the rain will lose intensity by Thursday night and Friday respectively.
Except in Kannur and Kasargod, there is no chance for heavy rains in other districts in the next 24 hours. There is also no flood threat in the State.
However, there is a chance for formation of a low pressure near Maldives but this is not for sure, according to the private Weather watch agency.
