BHOPAL: BJP MP Pragya Singh Thakur on Monday has accused India's first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru of trying to divide the nation. She went on to say that Nehru was a criminal who stopped the Indian army from securing back the POK region from Pakistani tribals.
The Bhopal MP said that the entire nation is proud about PM Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah for scrapping Articles 370 and 35A. According to her, it was Nehru who tried to divide the country by calling a ceasefire in the Kashmir region when the Indian army was dominating against Pakistan. “Whoever will hurt our motherland, anyone who tries to break our India, surely is a criminal,” she added. Earlier, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan had also blamed Nehru for giving up the POK region.
Meanwhile, the Congress leadership has lashed out against Pragya's remarks about Nehru. Congress leader Shobha Oza stated, It is the Godse inside Pragya, which is speaking such hateful words. Both Pragya and Shivraj Singh Chouhan are the followers of Godse, and they might even blame Gandhiji in the near future."
