Fans were shocked to hear the news that the film team including Manju Warrier were stuck in the high mountains of Himachal Pradesh following heavy rains and landslides. After all uncertainties, the news came that food was sent to them and the crew of thirty people shifted to a safe place. Sanal Kumar Sasidharan, the director of the film ‘Kayattam’ in his Facebook post and live video said that all are safe.

Now, actress Manju Warrier came forward thanking all for the big support assured to them. She thanked the big hearts who swiftly and responsibly executed the rescue operations. She also thanked for the care, concern, love and prayers showered upon them.

She wrote, “Happily informing that the full team of Sanal Kumar Shashidharan’s ‘Kayattam’ including me reached Manali safely by night. We are completely safe after being stranded at Chatru in Himachal for six days in the landslides. Thanking all the big hearts for the rescue operations executed swiftly and responsibly. Thanking each and every one for the care and concern showered on us.”
