KOTTAYAM: Chacko John, Neenu’s father who was acquitted in the Kevin murder case, said that he has something to reveal.

Talking to media, Chacko John said that he lost his daughter and son. Never knew about Kevin or his family, he said.

“I and my son were trapped. I’ll reveal more about this once the verdict is delivered by the court. I, my son and everyone imprisoned are innocent. We don’t have the right to take a life made by God. We didn’t kill Kevin. If there is a God, the truth will come out one day. Will move legally”, Chacko said.

Meanwhile, Kottayam Principal Session Court had found that Ninu’s brother Sanu Chacko and others are guilty in Kevin murder case. The prosecution wasn’t able to prove the alleged charges against Ninu father Chacko. So, he was allowed to walk due to the element of doubt. The FIR reads that Kevin’s murder was an honour killing as he was a Dalit Christian. The culprits were charged with ten sections of IPC including murder.
