KOCHI: A car driver’s brutality towards a pedestrian in broad daylight in Ernakulam city was seen today. The car first hit the pedestrian and then it travelled 400 metres with the youth on the bonnet. The youth who sustained injuries is under treatment in the hospital. The accident happened near Marottichodu Junction in Ernakulam. The over speeded car knocked the youth fatally.

When contacted, the youth said that when he was going to have food with his friend, a car coming from the right side knocked him down. I fell on the bonnet and the car travelled 400 metres with me on the bonnet. Later, I fell down and the car ran over my leg and fled without attending on me.
