Nitish Bharadwaj is one of those actors that’s fresh in the heart of every Malayali audience. His one and only film in Malayalam was ‘Njan Gandharvan’. He was then seen as Lord Sree Krishna in television series ‘Mahabharat’. Recently, Malayalam cinema audience saw him again through some interviews.
Now reports have surfaced on the day of ‘Janmashtami’ that the actor will be again doing the role of Lord Sree Krishna after 30 years. Nitish will be portraying the role of Sree Krishna in a drama named ‘Chakravyuh’ which is an adaptation of Doordarshan’s ‘Mahabharat’. Atul Satya Koushik will be directing the drama.
‘Mahabharat’ televised between 1988 and 1990 was a major hit. Nitish donned the role of Lord Sree Krishna at the age of 23. Then he acted in the Padmarajan directorial ‘Njan Gandharvan’.
Nitish is a former member of Lok Sabha who won the 1996 Lok Sabha election from Jamshedpur in a BJP ticket.
