ISLAMABAD: Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan has recently announced that he will be producing the Netflix web series 'Bard of Blood'. However, the actor soon received criticism from people in Pakistan who alleged that the series contains anti-Pakistan sentiment.

The trailer of the web series was shared by Shah Rukh through his official Twitter page. Pakistani actress Mehwish Hayat has stated on her Twitter page that Shah Rukh's latest web series is a clear example of Bollywood's propaganda against Pakistan. She also asked the actress why Bollywood is portraying Pakistanis as villains in order to show their love for the nation. "This just vindicates what I have been saying for so long. Another week & yet another anti-Pakistan project. Now can we wake up, smell the coffee & see Bollywood’s agenda for what it is? Shah Rukh Khan, be patriotic, nobody is stopping you - just don’t do it at the expense of vilifying us," she said.

He also asked Shah Rukh to realise the truth by learning about RAW agent Kulbhushan Jadhav and IAF wing commander Abhinandan Varthaman. Ghafoor also took the opportunity to accuse the Indian government and the RSS of trying to fulfill their 'Hindu agenda' through recent action in Kashmir.
