THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: BJP state secretary C Krishnakumar’s FB post, giving the impression that the house built by Cooperative department was the one under Pradhan Manthri Awaz Yojana, has drawn criticism from Cooperative and Devaswom Board Minister Kadakampally Surendran.

“What has been changed to Pradhan Mantri Awaz Yojana was the house built by Akathethara Service Cooperative Bank using the cooperative institutions share of Rs 4 lakh and Rs 95,100 from chief minister’s relief fund.

The house handed over to Chandrika was the 1169th house built according to Care home Scheme. The key handover ceremony was performed by the then MP Rajesh and it is ridiculous to see BJP leader C Krishna Kumar handing over the key of the same house again,” Kadakampally wrote on his FB post.
