KOLLAM: Pathekkar Vishnubhavan resident Vishnu (24) has come out with complaint against Thenmala police on his Facebook page.
He alleges is that he is being constantly harassed by the police, after forging fake cases against him.

On Tuesday night Vishu had parked his bike and moved away when a group of persons gathered around it and started enjoying a boozing session.

On being tipped off, police reached the place to see Vishnu near his bike; the drinkers had disappeared from the scene. Vishnu was blocked and police examined him to find out whether he was drunk, butin vain.

The SI rebuked him after that. When Vishnu opposed this by raising his voice, the SI whisked him away in the police jeep and beat him. Another police man also joined the SI in the action.

Later, he was also beaten up inside the lock-up. The beating stopped only after a police man told the SI that Vishnu was undergoing treatment for jaundice.

Vishnu friendly immediately managed to get bail for him and he was released soon. The SI’s friend also later tried to manhandle him.
Following the incident, Vishnu took treatment from hospital on Wednesday.

The doctor clarified fracture on his hand and a bruise on his stomach and back bone. As of now, Vishnu has mentioned his plight on his Facebook page only. But, he is getting ready to give a complaint to the chief minister.

Earlier, the police had filed three cases against Vishu, who says all were forged. Vishnu is currently scared to even step out of his house.
