KOCHI: Former PWD Minister Ibrahim Kunju said that he is not involved in the Palarivattom flyover case.
“Only saw the file as per govt policy and never saw any other file to give money directly to the contract company. This can be verified on reading Vigilance Remand Report”, he added.
Meanwhile, Vigilance will request to take the accused, who is remanded, into custody. The Vigilance has decided to further quiz the accused. Sumit Goyal, the owner of RDS Projects that constructed the bridge is named as the primary accused. M.T. Thankachan (Former AJM of Roads and Bridges Corporation), Benny Paul (KITCO Joint General Manager), T.O. Sooraj ( Former PWD Secretary) were named accused in the report submitted in the Vigilance Court. The accused were arrested yesterday.
